"Dear Dave,

I want to thank you for the exceptional job that you and your personable son Kevin did in helping my elderly mother. 

I was at a Saturday evening wedding and reception when my mother's caregiver called saying they had no heat and the house temperature was 55 degrees on a very cold day.  My mom insisted that we call another local company that she has used for at least 15 years.  I had used the other company in the past but was unhappy with their attitude and that is when I found you.  After two years of pleasant experiences with Colton Heating & Cooling I tried to get my mom to switch but she resisted due to her long term history with the other company.  As mom requested, I called them.  After telling them of my mom's situation, their main concern was that I understand the stop would be expensive since it was late on a Saturday.  I asked them to take care of the problem and I would pay the bill.  The technician arrived and the first thing he told mom was that she would need to pay the bill as soon as he was done.   I pay all my mom's bills due to her dementia. My mom called me and was very upset and panicked as I had her checkbook.  The technician then pressed for a credit card number before he would even check to see what the problem was.  I got him on the phone and told him I couldn't believe that he has an elderly woman on oxygen freezing in a house that they have serviced for 15 years, and that all he cared about was how they were getting paid.  I told him they were always paid on time, and he's sitting there talking on the phone instead of fixing a furnace.   To his surprise I told him to leave the house.

I was about to head back to Wheaton form Chicago to bring my mom to my house but decided to call you first.  One phone call, and you were at the house in thirty minutes.  Within an hour the heat was on, I cooled down and was able to enjoy the wedding.   You were happy to mail the bill as any reputable company should be.  Colton saved the day and mom and I thank you very much.  You are now mom's heating and cooling company too!
